Blog. The animadversion of such annotation is simply just backtalk
and the hype and buzz from a scathing comeback of gigantic proportions.
Some commentary provides a large crack in the criticism and dictum
of the discussion. An editorial on the other hand has more wiggle-room
to work with. The elucidation or exposition is just a footnote
used to put a gloss or shine on all of the hearsay and second
hand accounts of the story. A good illustration of this is the
sketchy and sparse input used to make a judgment about something,
though forgetting to mention the source and walking away with
a mouthful of one's own foot in the process and forgetting to
take a note of it in due process. The obiter can always return
and make a new observation or opinion and then proceed to submit
a new or revised remark to the report or review and get their
two cents' worth in, even if it's just to be a wisecrack.
